About the Los Alamos Community Foundation: Established in 2015, the focus of the Los Alamos Community Foundation is to improve the quality of life in our community by inspiring, facilitating and supporting enduring philanthropy, and building the capacity and success of our local nonprofit organizations. Taos Community Foundation connects people, and opportunities, generating resources to build a more creative, caring, and thriving community. As a grantmaking organization, the Foundation does not provide direct services to individuals, but instead supports our non profit community in the work they do to meet the needs of our residents. Taos Community Foundation hosts The Fund for Taos, an emergency action fund that is currently engaged in meeting response/recovery efforts related to the COVID pandemic.
